songs of "the Glory of the Lord" feel like Fire and destroy them; we know it is true.

These songs grant Your devotees all their wishes;

manaththaiyum urukkum:

they melt the minds of the singers and the listeners;

nisikkaru aRukkum piRavAmal:

they terminate any future births and confinement in dark wombs;

neruppaiyum erikkum:

they are capable of burning even the fire itself; and

poruppaiyum idikkum:

they can even demolish mountains into bits and pieces!
