That which is free from disease, which is ancient, and supreme;
which grants a boon, is immortal and without worries;
which is foremost, luminous and without any desire;
which is worshipped by Saivite holy men;
which is SivA, who burnt down Thirisirapuram without any weapon;
which is Vishnu and BrahmA;
which is Heaven and Earth;
which is in all animals and plants, movable and immovable; and
That ancient form in all these is MurugA - I did not meditate concentrating on that form.
Instead, I became a slave to useless people who have a mind of a crocodile and are indifferent to me;
and why should I go after these treacherous people with materialistic desires?
Once, Rama, who hails from Raghu's dynasty,
won over RAvaNan, who had a crying voice out of fear for Rama and with a dark complexion like the night;
(that Rama is none other than) the loving Vishnu;
His daily worship with flowers to SivA (including His lotus eye as a flower)* is a known true story; and You are the Son of that SivA!
You are the King of all arts!
You are the younger brother of famous elephant-faced VinAyagA!
You are without any attachment! You are the leader of all DEvAs!
Without fighting any wars, You are always able to win, and You never fail in Your victorious pursuits!
You reside in the town of ChruvUr (ThiruppOrUr).
There is a variety of kurA trees and agil trees, with huge and thick trunks, surrounding
VirAlimalai** where You rule right royally, Oh Great One!
